Langhorne Creek Area Red Blend

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (1999 Vintage) says
Medium to full red-purple; solid, dark berry and plum fruit mingles with generous slices of American oak on the bouquet; the palate plays the same tune, with a fleshy texture, fine tannins and plenty of well-integrated oak. A strange name for a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot and Malbec made at Bleasdale from grapes supplied by 10 individual growers. Gold medals at Melbourne in 2000 and 2001, and trophy at 2002 Hobart Wine Show for Best Blended Dry Red of Show.
