Expert Reviews

Ray Jordan (2010 Vintage) says
The name comes from the fact the vineyard is planted on the highest point of the Wilyabrup Valley. Leafy dried herb nose with some nice understated black olive influence. The palate is so perfectly crafted, striking a precise balance between oak and fruit supported by fine though ripe tannins. The palate is very long. A wonderful example of a Margaret River cabernet.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Medium red-purple; in the mainstream of Margaret River cabernet, perfectly ripened varietal fruit filling the bouquet and palate, with cassis, plum and a feathery bed of spice and gravel/earth; the tannins are fine, and the French oak positive, but not excessive.
