Tasting Notes - This wine is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc grown at our vineyard at Lake George and matured in French and Hungarian oak barriques for 15 months. The nose exhibits fruitcake, fresh stewed plums, raspberry, spice and violet aromas with vanilla oak overtones. The palate is smooth, rich and savoury with black olive notes and fine balanced tannins and a long finish.

Food Matches - This wine will go with lamb, kangaroo, smoked chicken, pheasant, white mould and hard cheeses. Cellaring – to 2015
