Les Jamelles Syrah

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

If we said, this is a perfect bistro style wine, would you know what we meant? It’s not challenging or complex but you know it will always be rewarding, especially with your favourite dish. The French would call it a Vin De Table and it comes from the Vin De Pays d’Oc. A whole bang going on for your buck in the glass, including summer berries and cracked pepper some anise and even some vanilla. The palate is quite rustic with earthy complexity and a satisfying length as well as some dusty tannins.

Winemaker's Notes

Appearance: Very dark colour. Fairly syrupy appearance.

Nose: Aromas of wild berry fruits (raspberries, gooseberries, blackcurrants), spices, cinnamon and a touch of mint.

Palate: Very rich and fat on the palate with a long, silky finish. This is a wine of a rare complexity.
