Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Grown at 240 metres above sea level, the 2008 vintage is a single-vineyard wine, hand-picked, tank-fermented and briefly lees-aged. One of the finest wines yet from Central Hawke's Bay, it has a fresh, punchy bouquet and a weighty palate with an array of grapefruit, herbal and mineral flavours, fresh, crisp, dry and long.

Michael Cooper (2006 Vintage) says
Grown at 240 metres above sea level near Waipawa, in Central Hawke's Bay, the 2006 vintage is restrained, with crisp, clean, appley, minerally characters and a dry (3 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish.
