Michael Cooper (2000 Vintage) says
Named after the founder, Petar Fredatovich, the 2000 vintage is a blend of Te Kauwhata Cabernet Sauvignon (60 per cent) and+B232 Gisborne Merlot (40 per cent). Fullish in colour, it shows solid depth of fresh, plummy, berryish flavours, but slightly lacks warmth and softness.

Michael Cooper (1999 Vintage) says
Named after the founder, Petar Fredatovich, the debut 1998 vintage is an American oak-aged blend of Hawke's Bay Cabernet Sauvignon (75 per cent) and Marlborough Merlot (25 per cent). Richly coloured, with good depth of blackcurrant and plum flavours wrapped in sweet oak, it's a supple, fresh, ripely fruity red for short-term cellaring. The 1999 is fullish in colour with berry/plum flavours, fresh, vibrantly fruity and crisp. It lacks a bit of softness and warmth, but is verging on three-star quality.
