Lincoln Heritage Patricia Chardonnay

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
Made in a rich, strongly oak-influenced, upfront style, Lincoln's middle-tier Chardonnay was named after the daughter-in-law of the founder, Petar Fredatovich. The powerful, youthful 2002 vintage is a Gisborne wine, grown in the Parklands Estate vineyard and fermented and lees-aged for nine months in American oak barriques. Full, fresh and creamy-smooth, with sweet, American oak aromas, ripe grapefruit and peach flavours and a long, well-rounded finish, it's a characterful, well-priced wine, likely to be at its best during 2003-04.
