Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
The medium version of Allied Domecq's best-seller is exactly twice as sweet (24 grams/litre of sugar) as its Brut stablemate (which has 12 grams/litre). A bottle-fermented blend of Pinot Noir (40 per cent), Chardonnay (40 per cent) and Chenin Blanc (20 per cent), the wine I tasted in mid to late 2004 was straw-hued, fresh and vivacious, with moderately yeasty flavours and a crisp, gently sweet finish. Top value.

Michael Cooper says
With its pale pink tint and slight strawberryish character, the medium version of Lindauer clearly reflects its 50 per cent Pinot Noir content. It's a full-flavoured and refined wine with delicate fruit characters and a crisp, yeasty, slightly sweet finish.
