Lindemans Bin 45 Cabernet Sauvignon

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Made from fruit out of South Eastern Australia, this is certainly a juicy, value bottle of red that won’t have you taking a hammer to the piggy bank. Blackcurrant, licorice, mint and earthy savouriness float out of the glass, whilst the palate is more medium-bodied and smooth, with a kiss of sweetness upfront followed by juicy berry flavours, a lick of mocha and After Eight mints, mellow tannins, and a soft and sultry finish that will have you reaching for another glass before you know it!

Winemaker's Notes

The generous flavours and contemporary, easy-drinking style  this Cabernet Sauvignon combines easily with food, family and friends.

Appearance: A ruby red with a plum core.

Nose: Cassis and bramble fruit aromas meld with dark fruit notes and subtle spicy oak.

Palate: A medium to full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon that combines dark berry fruit and cassis flavours with hints of chocolate and mint. The finish is stylish, long and juicy with a gentle backbone of Cabernet tannins.

Cellaring: Until 2015.

Alcohol: 13.5%

WINESTATE (2012 Vintage) says
A very more-ish wine, with an awesome perfumed, dried mint, red berry nose and persistent cherry berry palate, with an attractive savoury edge.
