Lindemans Bin 85 Pinot Grigio

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

This drier style of grigio that shows lots of apples and ripe pears on the nose, with a nice hit of yellow citrus and honeysuckle. The palate is light and quite crisp, with those apple-like flavours pushing through, and nice zip of lemony acidity, and a dryish, clean finish that will leave you refreshed. It's awesome value, and would be great with fish and chips from the local take-away.

Winemaker's Notes

Pale straw with green edges. A lovely amalgam of floral and tropical nuances with ripe apple and nashi pear characters. Green apple and pear flavours fill the palate, finishing with grapefruit acidity that creates a clean and lengthy finish. Enjoy or cellar to 2017.

James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
Despite its low alcohol, and belying its price, this has remarkable flavour, with a mix of nashi pear, citrus and a hint of stone fruit - its RRP simply a starting point for the discounters.
