Recently disgorged after three years on its yeast lees, the 1995 vintage is Martinborough winemaker Chris Lintz's first bubbly based on traditional Champagne varieties. A blend of Pinot Noir (65 per cent), Chardonnay (30 per cent) and Meunier (five per cent), it's a full, citrusy, nutty, creamy-soft wine with developed yeast autolysis characters and a rounded finish. Only 100 cases were made.
