Hand-picked in the Cromwell Basin and matured in French oak casks, the 2009 vintage is full-coloured, with moderately ripe cherry, plum and herb flavours, showing good density.

Michael Cooper (2007 Vintage) says
The 2007 vintage was matured for 11 months in French oak casks (30 per cent new). Full-coloured and scented, it has very satisfying depth of cherry, spice and herb flavours, showing some savoury complexity, and good length. The 2008 is floral and supple, with fresh, ripe, sweet-fruit flavours of plums and spices, already enjoyable.
