A fragrant, light- to medium-bodied wine with spicy cherry and plum on both bouquet and palate, the tannins fine and soft, oak restrained. Delicious now; no need to wait.

Fresh, lively, plum and spice aromas and flavours; just the right amount of tannins to provide texture.

There are some beguiling white pepper characters on the nose, then redcurrant and dark plum flavours and pleasing fleshiness. It's a wine that I enjoyed but Others in the panel were less enthusiastic, feeling that it might be a bit underripe. If you like that white pepper character, I think you'll be delighted - but it may divide opinion.

A delicious take on the variety. Compost/mushroom aromas; spicy floral notes and a lush viognier palate with fleshy tannins.

Medium-bodied; a touch of lift from the viognier is very evident on both bouquet and palate; appealing blackberry, cherry and spice fruit; offers more flavour than structure, but that is no sin.
