Longhop Cabernet Sauvignon

Cracka Review

Nose: Approachable and aromatic.

Palate: Raspberries, blackberries and liquorice jump onto the palate. Well balanced with lovely supple mouthfeel. Fine tannins, plenty of length keep the flavours ticking over long after the wine has gone.

Cellaring: Cellar 4 to 5 years.

Nick Stock (2010 Vintage) says
A classic rendition of a wine that's all about varietal character - something that cabernet tends to be pretty darn good at - this young red has cassis and leafy aromas, some purple olive and purple fragrance too. The palate makes a big impact on entry and delivers a dollop of tart, brambly blackcurrant flavour.
