Loose Leaf Cabernet Sauvignon
Loose Leaf is actually quite a good descriptor for Cabernet from WA as some of the best wines from this part of the world have a slight leafiness about them. This wine is loaded with blackberry and mulberry aromas, some vanillin oak and cassis. Lots of dark berry fruit on the palate with fine-structured tannins and a firm finish. Match with lamb for ultimate satisfaction.
When harvest draws to an end. When there’s not a breath of wind and the evenings chill your bones. When the fruit has been pressed and the wines have been stored. This is when the last Loose Leaf falls and our attention returns to the vineyard. Time to start all over again. With a hope that every new vintage will bring something better than the one before.
