Louis Tete Beaujolais Villages
The Beaujolais wines of Southern Burgundy are some of the most misunderstood and underrated in the world. They make for awesome drinking, and are one of the few reds you can drink with spicy chilli dishes. This 'village' offering from Louis Tete is a lighter to medium-bodied style that shows smells of confected red berries and rose florals on the nose, with just a hint of earth. The palate is soft and gently tannins, with bright acidity, and a fresh, elegant, raspberry finish. Put a slight chill on it in Summer and it will go down a treat.
