Mahi Ballot Block Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
From a slightly elevated, relatively cool site in the Brancott Valley, the distinctive 2010 vintage was hand-picked, barrel-fermented with indigenous yeasts and oak-aged for 10 months. A 'serious' style of Sauvignon Blanc with concentrated, slightly nettley and spicy flavours, seasoned with toasty oak, good complexity and a crisp, bone-dry finish, it should be at its best 2012+.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
From a slightly elevated, relatively cool site in the Brancott Valley, the very stylish 2008 vintage was hand-picked and barrel-fermented with indigenous yeasts. It has a fragrant, complex bouquet, with fresh acidity woven through its concentrated, ripe, very gently oaked flavours, which build to a sustained, fully dry finish.
