Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
Grown at Matakana, the 2009 vintage was fermented and matured for a year in seasoned French oak barrels. Weighty and complex, with generous peachy, slightly spicy flavours, a hint of honey, and a rich, rounded finish, it shows strong personality. The 2008 vintage is also mouth filling and full-flavoured, but slightly rustic (and now on sale much cheaper). The more enjoyable 2007 is weighty and complex, but slightly past its best.
