Cracka Review

Chardonnay got its big break in the 80s, then in the 90s the waves of popularity receded. Thankfully now in the noughties it’s getting the recognition it deserves and wineries like Mainbreak are responsible. The Margaret River are one of the main regions producing, smart, modern Australian Chardonnay and we love this example from a stellar vintage. It shows stonefruit and citrus with oatmeal before an incredibly creamy and textured palate. It finishes with refreshing natural acid and needs a roast chicken dinner to do it justice.
