Maison Langlois-Chateau Cremant de Loire Blanc Brut

Cracka Review

Here we have a Loire bubbly that has seen some white on black action in the grape variety area. Chenin, chardy and cab franc have been used in the relatively dry style style of wine, with aromas of lemons, stone fruits and quince decorate the nose, whilst the palate is bright, svelte and graceful, with citrus and peach flavours, fine and fun bubble, balanced acidity, a chalky mouthfeel, and a crisp finish. An excellent party starter.

Winemaker's Notes

A blend of Chenin (60%), Chardonnay (20%) and Cabernet-Franc (20%), the grapes come from 6 quality terroirs:

- Côtes de Saumur: chalky-silico
- Coteaux de St Léger: chalk
- Puy Notre Dame: chalky-clay
- Bas Layon: schist
- Haut Layon: chalky-clay
- Montreuil Bellay: chalky-clay

Light yellow colour. Fine, delicate bubbles. A complex nose mixing different fruits (quince, peach, grapefruit). A fresh, delicate and refined mouth-feel.

The freshness, fine bubbles and elegance of our Langlois Crémant de Loire Blanc Brut make it an excellent wine for receptions and ceremonies.

Ageing Potential: 3 years.
