Man O'War Waiheke Island Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2011 Vintage) says
Grown at the eastern end of the island, the 2010 vintage was handled entirely in tanks. It's an aromatic, fleshy and steely wine with strong ripe-fruit flavours, appetising acidity, a herbal undercurrent and a crisp, off-dry (6 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. The 2011, which includes a 'touch' of Semillon, is medium-bodied, with fresh, grassy aromas, melon/herb flavours, showing good vigour and depth, and a dryish, (5 grams/litre of residual sugar), crisp finish.
