Margrain Vineyard Stratford Riesling

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
Stratford is the personal label of Strat Canning, winemaker at Margrain Vineyard in Martinborough. The 2003 vintage is crisp and dryish (7 grams/litre of residual sugar), with strong lemony flavours, crisp and youthful. It's a tightly structured wine that needs time; open 2006+.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
Stratford is the personal label of Strat Canning, winemaker at Margrain Vineyard in Martinborough. Crisp and zingy, the 2002 vintagestop-fermented with 7 grams per litre of sugar, offers fresh, vibrant, lemon/lime fruit characters, showing good balance and depth. It's still youthful and should mature well.
