Here's a mature shiraz that is a little bit 'old school' but far from over-blown. Aromas of spiced dark berries and sniffs of mint adorn the nose, whilst the palate is full-bodied and fleshy with lush preserved plums and savoury flavours, mellow tannins, and a dry, juicy finish. It's drinking perfectly now, and would be great with braised lamb shanks.
Appearance: Medium deep magenta.
Nose: Spicy, plum and berry aromas with regional pepper and mint.
Palate: Generous and powerful, the palate builds in intensity as the wine is savoured. Medium to full bodied with rich mid-palate fruit and a long finish.
Cellaring: Drinking well on release but can be cellared for some years to develop character.
