Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The 2009 vintage is a single-vineyard wine, grown near Masterton and fermented with indigenous yeasts (mostly) in French oak casks (35 per cent new). Bright, light lemon/ green, with a complex, oaky nose, it is rich and slightly creamy, with crisp grapefruit, lime, toast and nut flavours showing good complexity.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
The 2008 vintage is a single-vineyard wine, barrel-fermented and lees-aged for 10 months. The bouquet is toasty and slightly creamy; the palate is mouthfilling, with ripe, peachy, citrusy, slightly buttery flavours, a strong seasoning of toasty oak, and considerable complexity. Best drinking mid-2010+.
