Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
The 2010 vintage is a zingy, very lively wine, partly estate-grown near Masterton, with other fruit drawn from Martinborough. Partly barrel-fermented (5 per cent), it is ripely scented, mouthfilling and crisp, with sweet-fruit delights and peachy, limey flavours, very fresh, vibrant and strong.

Michael Cooper (2006 Vintage) says
The 2006 vintage is the best yet. Estate-grown at Opaki, north of Masterton, and 5 per cent barrel-fermented, it is highly aromatic, very fresh and vivacious, with crisp, strong gooseberry/lime flavours. Delicious in its youth.

The debut 2004 vintage was mostly (86 per cent) estate-grown at Opaki, north of Masterton. Grassy aromas lead into a fresh, smooth palate with good body and strongly herbaceous flavours, smooth and lively.
