Cracka Review

Here we have another full-bodied, sweet-fruited number from Maximus that would make Bacchus smile. There's a mountain of fleshy black and blue fruits on the nose, along with some charry oak and dried herbs. The palate is full and sumptuous with ripe, sweet fruit flavours, solid tannins, and a dry, earthy finish. It's a real food wine that would go well with some slow-cooked lamb.

Winemaker's Notes

Nose: Dark fruit, woody winter herbs, eucalypt and some smokiness.

Palate: Lifted red fruit, forest floor with a firm dry finish and firm tannins.
