Maynard James Keenan All Four Reds

Cracka Review

Mangus is our Tuscan style blend. When a few rouge winemakers in the Tuscan region of Italy decided to grow and blend non-traditional grape varietals into their Sangiovese based wines, the world was introduced to the first “Super Tuscan.” With an ongoing fascination of these types of wines, Mangus was born. Mangus is our Super Tuscan style wine, blending Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (both Bordeaux grapes) with our Sangiovese. Rustic and fruit forward is the style of this great wine.

The word Dala in Apache language means, “ONE.” When you see the word Dala on one of our bottles of wine, you can always assume that the grapes we used to make that wine are of ONE varietal only.

Maynard explains the Mandala best... “A physical metaphor for impermanence, is composed of tiny grains of varying color and shade gathered from far and wide. Our global terrain offers an infinite palate. Drawing from this palate and upon their Intuition, Focus, Patience and Dexterity, the Artists construct and present a single moment, never to be repeated. This wine is constructed with these principles in mind. With Time, Weather and Varietals influenced by contrasting terroir as our palate, we offer you this deliberate combination of places, never to be duplicated and to be enjoyed in this moment.”
