Nick Stock (2008 Vintage) says
Located in the southern reaches of Heathcote, bordering the Macedon Ranges, this is not the usual muscular red-soil style of shiraz that's made the region famous. Instead, there are raspberries and distinctive minerally accents on the nose - nicely fresh and brightly ripe. The palate boasts a spark of acidity and delivers supple, gently drying tannins. Nice shape and style here.

Bright, deep purple-red; succulent blackberry, plum and bitter chocolate flavours; good tannin structure and balance, likewise oak; great future.

Lovely length and generosity of hot, ripe varietal fruit flavours with well-handled oak.
