Expert Reviews

Nick Stock (2011 Vintage) says
Very fine, very composed and a lesson in refined, sleek, line-and-length semillon. Lemon and lime citrus here, gentle wax; the polished palate shape runs teflon-like through to a clean, sizzling finish. Pristine. Not yet released.
The Good Wine Guide 2012
James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
Bright quartz-green; the bouquet has a touch of complexity, its source not obvious; the palate has superb intensity and length, the flavours moving beyond lemon into lime and a touch of grapefruit; the steel core of acidity is there to guide the wine into an indefinite future.
Wine Authority 2012
James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
Light to medium green-yellow; intense grass, herb and lemon aromas and flavours are lengthened and focused on the palate by the very good acidity. Follows directly on the outstanding 2001; like it, a gold medal winner at the Hunter Valley Wine Show in the year of its vintage. Already drinking well.
Australian Wine Companion 2004 2003
James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Light to medium green-yellow; the powerful lemony bouquet heralds a powerful, long and intense palate with lemon and herb flavours and excellent balance. Top gold medal in its class 2001 Hunter Valley Wine Show.
