James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Typical very pale, although bright, red colour; tannins are part of the territory, but here do allow the spicy red berry/cherry fruits room to move on the long, fine palate. Not the best Nebbiolo in Australia, but certainly one of the better.

Very good bright crimson; a major surprise, with delicious flowery, small berry fruit flavours and, best of all, fine-grained, balanced tannins.

With decent colour and mid-red hue, this has the hallmarks of nebbiolo, with cherries and some fragrance on the nose. The palate is smooth and supple, with acidity standing out, while tannins wrap nicely around the finish. Easy drinking, nicely ripe.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Typical pale colour; light- to medium-bodied; mint, raspberry and cherry; plenty of acidity, but not much tannin structure. Truly, this is the ultimate bitch of a variety.
