James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
Light straw-green; hits right in the heart of verdelho varietal character, with fruit salad to the fore; nor would I argue with the suggestion by Angus McPherson that there are some traces of Turkish delight; the texture of the palate is a strong point, with some grainy acidity balancing a subliminal hint of sweetness.
