Melness Paton Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
Grown in two Canterbury vineyards (at Cust, near Rangiora, and Burnham, south-west of Christchurch), and French oak-aged for 10 months, the 2001 vintage is a good drink-now or cellaring proposition. Full- coloured, with a youthful, purplish hue, it is attractively ripe and savoury, with loads of plummy, cherryish flavour, oak complexity and a seductively smooth finish.
