Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
Light straw-green; a complex barrel-fermented wine with layers of flavor in a lemongrass and lychee range, oak adding a dimension to both the flavor and texture.
Australian Wine Companion 2014 Edition 2013
Ray Jordan (2011 Vintage) says
Hits the mark with the combination of outstanding semillon and some quality French oak. Scented grassy lemon nose is seductive and alluring. The palate is medium weight yet the flavour intensity is excellent and persistent. It's a wine made with a high degree of finesse. Like the almost delicate feel.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Bright, lively and intense; has great structure, with a spine of mineral running through the lemongrass flavour; crisp finish.
Australian Wine Companion 2007 2006
James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Complex, rich, rounded but not heavy; ripe lemon almost into stone fruit; very good mouthfeel. Consistent vineyard style and quality.
Australian Wine Companion 2006 2005
James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
Complex and mouthfilling, but perfect balance and texture give great finesse; some tropical notes, then gentle, lemony acidity.
Australian Wine Companion 2005 2004
James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
The bouquet is complex, rich, stylish and tangy, the palate bursting with flavour, helped by the clever blending in of 10 per cent Chardonnay.
Australian Wine Companion 2005 2004
Ray Jordan (2002 Vintage) says
The aroma is a beautiful delicate mix of pear, spice and lemon against a slightly creamy background. The palate is rich and deceptively powerful. The addition of 10 per cent chardonnay has added weight and complexity. This is a wine definitely worth seeking at your local liquor store
