James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
Light, bright crimson; a totally delicious rose, with intense spiced red berry fruits on the bouquet and palate; a long, even and balanced palate. Roses donÕt come much better than this.

James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
Vibrant pink hue; a savoury and spicy bouquet with wild strawberry, red cherry, anise and clove; the palate is dry and refreshing, finishing with a chalky textured twist; very good saignee rose.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Vivid light crimson-purple, astonishing given the winemaking techniques; the fragrant bouquet leads into a palate full of red fruits, with great texture and length to its vibrant red fruit flavours; 20 hours' skin contact, 16-day wild yeast fermentation, six months in seasoned French barriques, one month in tank; blended with 5% sauvignon blanc. Succeeds brilliantly.

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Has considerable grip and texture without bitterness; a rose built from the ground up with intensity, balance, length and a dry finish.
