Michele Chiarlo Gavi Rovereto

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Michele Chiarlo steps it up a notch with this elegant, delicately fruited wine out of north-west Italy. Scents of citrus, soft spice and honeysuckle float out of the glass, whilst the palate is lighter-bodied and dainty with a velvety mouthfeel, and a smooth, crisp, limy finish. Chill it down and drink over the next couple of years.

Winemaker's Notes

Appearance: Pale straw-yellow with green reflections.

Nose: Hints of vanilla, anise and freshly cut hay.

Palate: Delicately fruity with mineral notes and a tangy citrus finish.

Food: Goes well with all seafood and white meats with light sauces.

Cellaring: It is already excellent in to drink young but may be cellared for up to 5 years.
