Mills Reef Reserve Gimblett Gravels Hawke's Bay Viognier

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2011 Vintage) says
The 2010 vintage - not labelled as 'Gimblett Gravels' but grown there - is full-bodied and vibrantly fruity, with strong, ripe stone-fruit flavours, a touch of oak-derived complexity, and excellent texture, varietal character and depth. The 2011, fermented and matured for 10 weeks in seasoned oak barrels, is fresh and moderately concentrated, with citrusy, peachy flavours and a dryish (5.8 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish.
