Mills Reef Reserve Hawke's Bay Pinot Gris

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2011 Vintage) says
The 2011 vintage shows good complexity. Fermented in tanks (35 per cent) and old oak barrels (65 per cent), it is mouth filling and vibrantly fruity, with ripe peach, pear and spice flavours, a very subtle seasoning of oak, a slightly creamy texture and a dry finish (3 grams/litre of residual sugar). Already enjoyable, it's a good 'food' wine.

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The 2009 vintage is an easy-drinking style, fermented and lees-aged for three months in seasoned oak casks. It's a dry style (3 grams/litre of residual sugar) with mouthfilling body, peachy, slightly spicy flavours and a very smooth finish.
