Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2006 Vintage) says
The thirst-quenching 2006 vintage is a 50/50 blend of Merlot and Malbec, grown in the Gimblett Gravels of Hawke's Bay. Bright pink/red, it is full-bodied, fresh, berryish and smooth, with strong, ripe, slightly spicy fruit flavours, a touch of sweetness (7 grams/litre of residual sugar) and enough acidity to keep things lively. There is no 2007.
