Max Allen & Peter Forrestal (2003 Vintage) says
This was a contender for Best White Wine Under $10 because of its refreshing, unpretentious drinkability. It is wonderfully aromatic and full-flavoured with heaps of ripe tropical fruit. A delicious crowd-pleaser.

Ken Gargett (2003 Vintage) says
Another bargain here from Miranda, which has just recently come under the wing of the McGuigan wine group. Apart from the scary idea of the dynamic daughters Sandra Miranda and Lisa McGuigan now working together, it is most definitely a good thing for the Miranda brand to have the McGuigans at hand. Nobody knows how to make and sell good, cheap wine better than they do. And this is a damn good, cheap wineÑso it's all going nicely to plan.

James Halliday (1996 Vintage) says
Medium yellow-green; the fruit is rather bland and the accompanying oak (no doubt provided by chips) is rather blowsy and tending to caramel on the bouquet. The palate is adequate, particularly at the price, but lacks the quality of the previous vintages.
