Michael Cooper (2005 Vintage) says
The 2005 vintage of this Waiheke Island red, grown at Onetangi, is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, matured for a year in French oak barriques (hall new). Medium-bodied, it's a slightly rustic wine, spicy and leafy.

Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
The 2003 vintage of this Waiheke Island red, grown at Onetangi, is flavoursome, leafy, savoury and mellow. The 2004 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (40 per cent), Merlot (36 per cent), Cabernet Franc (20 per cent) and Malbec (4 per cent), matured for 11 months in French oak barriques (80 per cent new). Full and bright in colour, it is medium-bodied, with fresh, concentrated, ripe plum and spice flavours, supple and elegant.
