Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2005 Vintage) says
The 2005 vintage was estate-grown in the Dartmoor Valley, Hawke's Bay, and 10 per cent barrel-fermented. It's a bone-dry style with crisp, lemony, appley flavours, showing solid depth.

Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
The 2004 vintage is the test yet. A ripely scented, fresh and crisp Hawke's Bay wine, it shows good body and roundness, with ripe, gently herbaceous, citrus fruit and melon flavours. It's not a dramatic wine, but enjoyable.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
Verging on three-star quality, the 2002 vintage is a solid Hawke's Bay wine, full-bodied, with melon and capsicum flavours and a crisp, green-edged finish
