As the word nector may suggest, this is a sweeter style of Champagne that is more in what the French would call a demi-sec style. There's plenty of fruit on the nose in the tropical and stone fruit vein, along with some funky smokiness and dairy. The palate is lush and creamy, with very evident sweetness up front, nougat and peach flavours, a fine bubble, and a honey and vanilla finish. This would be great with a slice of lemon meringue pie.
Nectar Impérial is a delicious expression of the Moët & Chandon style, a style distinguished by its bright fruitiness, its seductive palate and its elegant maturity.
