WINESTATE (2011 Vintage) says
A very attractive oaky/toasty nose and a very flavoursome, mouthfilling, long, rich, chocolaty palate.
WINESTATE (2010 Vintage) says
Balanced oak and fruit aromas with a fumy alcohol lift. Well-structured, warming palate with an abundance of varietal fruit flavours.
WINESTATE Volume 34 (2011)
Campbell Mattinson (2006 Vintage) says
I tasted most of the Mollydooker range and this was the best value: I didn't like The Scooter Merlot, and the Blue-Eyed Boy Shiraz and Carnival of Love Shiraz were solid but not worthy of their price tag. 2006 RELEASE This was released in the second half of 2007 and is getting better as it rests in the bottle. It's blisteringly high-octane stuff, big in alcohol and sweet, chocolaty, smoky, raisiny fruit flavour. Clearly you have to enjoy its blistering style. But if you do - this is right on the money, for not much money, DRINK 2008-2011.
The Big Red Wine Book 2008
James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Generous black fruits and lots of dark chocolate in full-on McLaren Vale style, rich and satisfying.
