Michael Cooper (2012 Vintage) says
Very classy and concentrated wine from a north-facing slope in the Awatere Valley. Crisp and elegant, with vibrant, ripe melon/capsicum flavours, finely poised, tight and long.
March/April 2013
Michael Cooper (2011 Vintage) says
The 2010 vintage was grown mostly in the Wairau Valley, with a small portion of Awatere Valley fruit. Weighty and dry, it shows excellent substance, ripeness and roundness, in a tightly structured, age-worthy style. The 2011 is aromatic, punchy and crisp, with melon, green-capsicum and lime flavours, slightly minerally, dry and lingering.

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The debut 2008 vintage was grown in the Awatere and Omaka valleys. Freshly herbaceous, with good intensity, it is crisp and dry, with pure melon and capsicum flavours, vibrant, dry and long.
