Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
Grown at Matapiro, an elevated, inland district, and matured on its yeast lees in tanks, the easy-drinking 2009 vintage is fleshy and smooth, with fresh acidity and good depth of lively pear and spice flavours.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
The 2008 vintage was grown mostly at Matapiro, a cool, elevated, inland district, and matured on its yeast lees in tanks for three months. It's a full-bodied, fresh and lively wine, finely textured, with very good depth of citrusy, slightly appley flavours, a touch of sweetness (6.5 grams/litre of residual sugar) and balanced acidity.
