Montana Wines Timara Riesling

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (1998 Vintage) says
Light yellow-green; the bouquet is quite floral and scented, with gentle lime and toast varietal characters. A soft and easy wine on the palate with some tropical fruit flavours and a soft acid finish.

Michael Cooper (1996 Vintage) says
A budget-priced wine made by Montana from Marlborough grapes, although that isn't mentioned on the label. The 1996 vintage is a very easy-drinking wine, less intense than Montana Marlborough Riesling, but a good buy. Floral and slightly honied on the nose, it's a full-bodied wine with ripe fruit flavours and good sugar/acid balance. As a cheap, all-purpose medium white, this is hard to beat
