James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
The vines are grown on a steep, rocky gravelly patch on the bank of a small river. District herb and snow pea influences on the bouquet come through strongly on the palate; as distinctive as it is generous, crisp acidity driving the long finish.

Pale straw-green; as you swirl the glass, the overwhelming aromas are of snow peas, the palate with continuing notes of herbs and grainy minerally acidity.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Bright straw-green; the wine has exceptional intensity to the bouquet of snow pea and citrus, and even more to the delicious palate of pink grapefruit and tropical fruit salad, finishing with fresh, zesty acidity.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Light straw-green; the flavours capture the best of both sauvignon worlds: grass and citrus on one hand, passionfruit and tropical on the other; remarkably, the flavours are seamless, the line unbroken. Gold medal WA Wine Show '09, silver medal Perth Wine Show '09.

Aromatic, attractively delicate style; lemongrass, citrus, passionfruit and gooseberry; long, lingering finish. Different flavour array to the '05.
