Ray Jordan (2010 Vintage) says
Leafy notes of mint and black berry on the nose with a hint of cedar. It's a soft medium bodied wine with soft supple tannins and understated oak supporting the red fruits with the subtle confectionary sweet fruit characters. Nice wine over the next few years.
The West Australian Wine Guide 2012
Tyson Stelzer (2009 Vintage) says
Single vineyard personality, hand-crafted individuality and small-volume TLC make the price look completely wrong. Carefully tuned French oak lets the vineyard speak at full voice.
Wine100, December Edition 2012
Ray Jordan (2009 Vintage) says
The nose displays a very powerful minty leafy character which appears to be a regional or vineyard character. As it breathes it works itself in the wine and becomes less obvious. The result is an elegant and finely structured with soft supple fruit thread with fine firmish tannin that build in the mouth.
WA Wine Guide 2013 2012
Ray Jordan (2007 Vintage) says
A simple fruit driven Cabernet with a soft generous structure on a palate filled with plump fleshy fruit. The oak is subordinated and allows the fruit to feature with its mix of plum and black currant plus just a slight spicy savoury finish.
Ray Jordan's 2011 WA Wine Guide 2011
James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
Light- to medium-bodied; blackcurrant, spice and black olive flavours; subtle oak; fine tannins.
