James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Bright straw-green; all or some of the extra month in oak, the extra year in bottle, and the vintage have invested this wine with greater presence and complexity than the '11, without taking away its elegance; here white peach and melon are co-drivers with grapefruit, and the oak imparts some creamy/nutty nuances.

Developed tropical bouquet with matchstick-like notes. Palate in the riper spectrum, a touch sweet.

Ray Jordan (2008 Vintage) says
This is consistent with the Moombaki style of chardonnay. It's creamy and lavish with some nice subtle toasty roasted cashew and stone fruit lifted with a gentle squeeze of citrus juice. The oak has been well handled. Has the structure to handle some short term cellaring.

Juicy melons mingle with licorice-like notes. Well-balanced palate shows attractive complexity. An early drinker.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Very tight and closed, still to open up; demands time, for the fruit and French oak are perfectly integrated and balanced; try in 2 years time, and likely higher points.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Delicate, crisp aromas and flavours; grapefruit, melon and nectarine seamlessly woven with French oak; almost fairy-like in its transparency.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Spotlessly clean; an attractive style marrying elegance and positive varietal melon and nectarine fruit; oak a pure support role; good length and feel.

James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
Medium-bodied; neatly balanced and integrated French oak with melon fruit; falters ever so slightly on the finish.
