James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Good hue; a blend of Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc/Malbec that spent 26 months in French barriques, giving rise to a selection of the best barrels; while the wine is no more than medium-bodied, the fruit has largely absorbed the oak, the cassis, plum, blackcurrant and blackberry flavours pushing through to the finish.

Ray Jordan (2008 Vintage) says
It's a blend of shiraz from Frankland and cabernet sauvignon cabernet franc and malbec from Denmark. Beautifully perfumed aromas with traces of earth dark berries. On the palate there is a powerful wave of concentrated intense fruit worked with a decent lick of oak. It’s smooth and delightfully seamless with a long fine finish. Those earthy savoury characters on the palate should evolve nicely with cellaring.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Relatively light but good hue; a fragrant, complex bouquet is driven by the Bordeaux half of the blend of Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc/Malbec, and the savoury flavours and tannins of the medium- to full-bodied palate do not shift the balance of power; cedary characters will emerge with time; 1050 bottles produced from the best barrels in the cellar.

This is a terrifically exciting wine from Moombaki, which has already created a string following. This is Shiraz from Frankland and Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet franc and malbec from Denmark. A powerhouse wine of great finesse and style. So much power harnessed by firm tannins and fine grained oak. Stacks up very well.

Good colour; very fine and no less focused and intense; blackcurrant, cassis, mint and cedar; very long palate and finish; long future. Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz/Cabernet Franc/Malbec. Bottle 94 of 840 produced.
